That said, if you have significant mobility limitations, we recommend starting at a low speed
setting and getting comfortable in a quiet parking lot before riding in traffic.
Our 750W models handle moderate neighborhood hills (up to about 10–12% grade) reasonably well.
Steeper driveways or extended climbs will drain the battery faster and may require you to shift
to a lower gear and use more throttle. If you live in a very hilly area, we recommend our
higher-capacity T300 model and suggest testing the specific hills near your home.
Our most common real-world reports from customers are 25–40 miles per charge on flat terrain.
Factors that reduce range: carrying heavy loads, riding into headwinds, steep hills, cold weather,
and using full throttle the whole time. The advertised range figures assume a lighter rider,
moderate speed, and flat terrain — your experience may differ. We recommend starting with a
shorter test ride to understand your specific range.
Our folding models do fold — most to roughly 45" x 32" x 27" when folded. Weight ranges
from about 65 to 90 lbs depending on the model, which is more than most people can lift alone.
We recommend having a second person help load it, or using a vehicle ramp. Most customers use
a truck bed, cargo van, or large SUV. Measure your cargo space before purchasing — not all
SUVs can fit a folded trike flat.
This is the most common concern new trike riders have. At normal riding speeds on flat ground,
tipping is very unlikely. The risk increases if you take sharp turns at high speed (over 12–15 mph)
or ride across a significant side slope. The practical advice: slow down before turns,
not during them. Most riders find their confidence grows quickly within the first few rides.
